Power of a Thousand Foundation is a not for profit organization set up to raise awareness and support for the well-being and education of indigent children, 12 years and below in Nigeria.
On your birthday, give a minimum of N1,000 to the cause of the month. You can decide to give N1,000 for every year you’ve lived or get your friends and family to join you in giving as they celebrate your special day.

- THIS MONTH’S PROJECT
February 2021Provision of 10 exercise books each for 507 pupils in addition for teaching aids for a primary school in Rivers state. 
January 2021– Presented bags to 188 pupils at Reservation Nursery and Primary school in Ajegunle, Lagos. 
– Provided shoes for 234 children who have no footwear. 114 of these shoes are going to children in the Yangoji and Dakoko Leprosy communities in FCT and Niger state respectively. 120 shoes for kids in Kurmi Tamara, Kurmi Jojin and Kurmi Chiroma; all in Bauchi state. Shoes distributed by our partners – Mission Enablers and Leprosy Mission.
– Provided annual scholarship for 10 pupils in Northern Nigeria (N550,000)
February 2021On Friday, February 26, we presented 10 exercise books to each of the 350 pupils present at Bundu Waterside Nursery & Primary school, Rivers state. This was a huge blessing to the kids as we got to know that many camse to school with scraps of paper to write on. We also provided teaching aids for different subjects for all the classes.
